Broome County Sheriff Office - Gault Dealership Criminal Mischief

On Nov. 21, 2002, or the early morning hours of, Nov. 22, 2002, the Gault auto dealership, Endwell, New York, suffered extensive damage to vehicles parked in their lots. The total amount of damages is estimated between $90,000.00 and $140,00.00.

Endicott Dual Robberies

In the evening hours of Saturday, October 19, 2002, two armed robberies occurred in the Village of Endicott, New York. Both robberies are believed to have been committed by the same individual. One robbery occurred at the Manley's Mighty Mart on Main Street, Endicott. The other was outside the American Legion in Endicott.

Binghamton Homicide (victim, Cleon R. Eason)
New information in this case:
Binghamton Police Detectives have developed information that three young men were in the immediate area at the time of this fatal shooting. These men were acquainted with Mr. Eason and have since vanished. Binghamton Police would like to talk to the three men concerning what they saw on the night of Eason’s murder.

Binghamton & Johnson City Robberies

On Nov. 11, 2002, at about 10:15 AM, an elderly woman was robbed in the parking lot of Wegman’s, 650 Harry L Drive, Johnson City, New York. A similar (though unsuccessful) robbery was attempted on the evening of Nov. 10 outside the Hess Mart at 236 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, New York.

Binghamton Mighty Mart Robbery

On Friday, November 8, 2002, the Manley’s Mighty Mart at 150 Conklin Avenue was robbed by a lone gunman. The suspect is described as a male, about 5’9" tall, weight approximately 180 pounds, medium build, wearing a black mesh Halloween mask.

Binghamton House Burglary
In mid-September of 2002 a home in the Grandview Avenue neighborhood on Binghamton’s East Side was burglarized. A total of $14,090.00 in property was taken including pocket watches, coins, jewelry, DVD movies and tools among other things.

Endicott Strong Arm Robbery

On August 14, 2002, at about 12:30 AM, a woman walking home on Watson Boulevard, Endicott, was struck in the right side of her face and knocked to the ground. Two men held her arms to the ground then pulled the woman’s purse from her and fled the area on foot.

Binghamton Clinton Street Rape
In the early hours of September 7, 2002, a woman leaving a Clinton Street business was approached by a man she had met earlier that night known to her as "Capone". This man subsequently raped and sodomized the woman. Suspect is described as a male, black, approximate age 26.

In November 2001 an armed robbery occurred at the Kwik-Fill store located at 23 Floral Avenue, Binghamton, New York. In December 2001 another robbery occurred, this time at the Kwik-Fill store at 267 Main Street, Binghamton. It is believed that the same man committed both robberies.

Binghamton Fugitive, Marcel "Big" Williams
Binghamton Police Department Special Investigations Unit has determined that Marcel Williams sold drugs recently in the downtown Binghamton area. An arrest warrant for Williams has been issued on the charge of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, a Class B Felony.

Binghamton Bank Robbery

At approximately 5:00pm on March 29, 2001, the M & T Bank located in Binghamton, New York, was robbed by a lone gunman. The suspect, described as a white male, 35 to 45 years of age, 5’8" to 6’0" tall, displayed a handgun in his belt and brandished what appeared to be a rifle or long gun. The suspect was wearing an earphone and appeared to be listening to a police scanner.

A warrant for the arrest of Raheem A. Gibson has been issued for felony charges related to activities including the sale of cocaine during the summer months of 2001. Gibson is a male, black, 26 years of age, approximately 5'8" tall and 200lbs. His last known address was in Endicott, NY.

Vestal Assault/Attempted Robbery
On February 8, 1998 a group of men attempted to rob the Olive Garden restaurant on Vestal Parkway, Vestal NY. During the course of the attempted robbery an employee was shot and others were assaulted. Tommy Sengmanivong (alias "Fat Tommy"), a suspect in this case, is wanted for questioning.

On Friday, March 15, 2002, the Endicott Animal Hospital, located at 112 West Main Street, Endicott, was burglarized overnight. Taken in the burglary were a small amount of cash and several bottles of the following drugs: DEMEROL, MORPHINE, DIAZEPAM and KETAMINE.

Sometime between 5:00 PM on January 13, 2002 and 7:00 AM on January 14, 2002, unknown subjects toppled 103 headstones at Riverhurst Cemetary in Endwell, NY. Damage to the stones exceeded $25,000.00.

Binghamton Strong Arm Robbery
On June 18, 2002, a strong arm robbery occurred at the Eckerd Drug Store at 67 Robinson Street, Binghamton, New York. A man took cash from a register drawer, threatening the cashier when she attempted to get him to stop.

Vestal Credit Card Larceny
April 5, 2002, credit cards were stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Binghamton, New York. The stolen credit cards were then fraudulently used in Vestal, Johnson City and Horseheads, New York as well as along the Interstate 81 corridor, as far south as Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Graffiti damage has been reported in numerous locations in the Towns of Union and Maine. Damages having similar characteristics have been reported to a warehouse and trailers of the Rob Salamida Corporation, buildings in the Park Manor Plaza, at the William Hill Park in Westover and numerous other locations.

Endicott Credit Union Robbery
On September 9, 1999 the BCT Federal Credit Union, 628 East Main Street, Endicott, NY was robbed. The suspect got away with over $30,000.00 in cash. The suspect displayed a small handgun during the commission of the robbery but noone was hurt.

Kwik Fill / Leroy Pizza Robbery
On the evening of November 30, 2001, a man entered the Kwik Fill on Main Street in Binghamton claiming to have a gun and demanding money. It is believed, within a few minutes the same man robbed the Leroy Pizza and Sub Shop using the same approach.

Rape Suspect at Large
In the early morning hours of October 30, 2000, a woman was raped by a man described as white and in his early to middle twenties, stocky build, dirty blonde hair and clean shaven. The woman was able to escape on foot eventually being rescued by a truckdriver along Route 17.

On March 12, 2001 at 10:30am, the Binghamton Savings Bank at 273 Main Street in Binghamton was robbed. The suspect left the scene on foot. It is not known if the suspect had a vehicle waiting in the area.

Thomas Ruiz Case
On September 1, 2001 Mr. Ruiz was found injured and unconscious and later died from his injuries. An autopsy indicates that Mr. Ruiz was probably punched in the face and then fell, hitting his head.

FBI Seeking Terrorist Information

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released 19 photographs of individuals believed to be the hijackers of the four airliners that crashed on September 11, 2001, into the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon, and in Stony Creek Township, Pennsylvania.
