On December 24th, 2008, City Court Judge William Pelella issued a Felony Arrest Warrant for one George H. Clauston Jr., for the Offense of Failure to comply with the New York State Sex Offender Registration Act. Apparently Clauston, a registered sex offender, moved from his residence at 106 Henry St, Binghamton, to an unknown location without notifying authorities of his change of address.

Clauston is also wanted by the NYS Division of Parole.

Clauston is a white male, born 3-28-70.

He is described as being 6’, 212lbs, with brown eyes, long brown hair and a goatee.

 

 
 
 

On January 7th, 2009, Binghamton Police Department Detectives filed a complaint against David M. Dirado for the felony offense of Criminal Possession of a forged instrument in the 2 nd degree.

Apparently on three separate dates in December of 2008 Dirado knowingly cashed three forged checks that belonged to another person.

Dirado is a white male, born 2-8-79.

He is described as being 5’11, 174lbs, with brown eyes, brown hair and a possible moustache or goatee.

At about 8:00AM on Tuesday, January 20, 2008 a hit and run motor vehicle accident occurred on Binghamton’s West side, causing injuries to a 12 year pedestrian.

The victim was apparently waiting to be picked up by a school bus at the intersection of Main St. and Crestmont Rd., when a grey or silver mini-van turned from Main St. onto Crestmont Rd. and struck the boy. The van then sped south on Crestmont Rd without stopping to check on the injured youth.

The driver of the vehicle was possibly a black male, no further description at this time.

Surveillance photos from a nearby bank captured images of a grey or silver mini-van fleeing the scene.

The youth was treated at Wilson Hospital for injuries to his mouth and teeth.

 

 

On February 13th, 2009, City Court Judge William Pelella issued a Felony Arrest Warrant for one Lance R. Johnson for the Offense of Assault in the Second Degree.

According to Binghamton Police Detectives, Johnson did stab a female in the face and arm with an unknown sharp instrument during an argument.

The victim was treated at an area hospital, and received stitches to her face and forearm from the assault.

Johnson is a black male, born 10-8-1974; he is described as being 5’6, 152lbs, with brown eyes, brown hair and a light moustache and goatee.

Johnson’s last known address was 32 Sherman St., Johnson City.

 

 
 
       
 
 

 

On February 26th, 2009, City Court Judge Lehmann issued a Bench Warrant for one Shuaib A. Raheem for the Offense of Tampering with physical evidence.

According to the Binghamton Police Department’s Community Response Team, Raheem attempted to discard a plastic bag containing a controlled substance to avoid arrest during a traffic stop on Binghamton’s north side.

Raheem is a black male, born 3-24-86; he is described as being 5’8, 175lbs, with brown eyes, brown hair and a light beard.

Raheem’s last known address was 33 Park St., Johnson City.

 

 

 
 
 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Eric R. Walton; as he has a misdemeanor warrant out of Binghamton City Court for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7 th Degree.    He also has a parole warrant, and a warrant is currently being issued for him on a felony charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

Walton is a black male, born 6-3-67; and he is described as being 5’4, 160lbs, with brown eyes. In his last known photograph, Walton has a shaved head and a black goatee.

Walton’s last known address was 9 Crandall St., Binghamton.

 
  

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Nathanial Thompson; as he has a felony warrant out of Binghamton City Court for Robbery in the Second Degree. The charge is related to a car theft in Binghamton’s First Ward on April 19 th, 2009.

Thompson is a black male, born 2-19-78; and he is described as being 5’11, 200lbs, with brown eyes. In his last known photograph, Walton has a short black hair and a black moustache.

Thompson’s last known address was 107 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton.

 

 

 
 

On Sunday morning (4/19) at 3:30 AM a Vestal man was stabbed on Park Ave near Vestal Ave in the City of  Binghamton.  The suspect chased the victim to that location and then cut him with a large kitchen knife.  This image of the suspect was captured minutes before the incident on a South side convenience store surveillance system.  The victim was treated and released from Binghamton General Hospital. 

The suspect is described as being a dark-skinned male, possibly Hispanic, 5'10", with a muscular build; he appeared to be in his early 20's.

The suspect had his hair pulled back into a bun or pony tail. 

At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

 

 

   
       
 
 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Lamel Young; as he has a felony warrant out of Binghamton City Court for Burglary in the First Degree.

Young is alleged to have unlawfully entering a residence on Binghamton’s south side and assaulting a female at that location.

Young is also alleged to have kicked open a locked door to gain entrance to the residence, and while inside the residence he made statements that he would kill the victim and then himself.

Young was armed with a knife at the time of the attack.

Lamel Young is a black male, born 12-29-88; and he is described as being 5’9, 180lbs, with brown eyes. In his last known photograph, Walton has a short black hair and a black moustache and scruffy beard.

Young’s last known address was 10 Fayette St., Binghamton.

 

 

 
 
 

 The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Rayshawn J. Torres; as he has a felony warrant out of Binghamton City Court for Assault in the second degree, and a warrant for endangering the welfare of a minor. Torres is also being sought by the Broome County Probation Department for a violation of his terms of probation.

Torres is a Hispanic male, born 4-19-91; and he is described as being 5’8, 180lbs, with brown eyes. Torres has a short black hair and a black moustache and scruffy beard.

Torres’s last known address was 162 Susquehanna St., Binghamton.

 

 
 
 

  The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Brian T. Elijah; as he has a felony warrant out of Binghamton City Court for Criminal Contempt in the First Degree for the violation of an Order of Protection. Elijah is alleged to have been involved in a domestic incident in March of 2009 on Susquehanna St in the City of Binghamton, with a female that has an Order of Protection against him.

Elijah is a black male, born 5-30-1977; and he is described as being 5’11, 175lbs, with brown eyes. Elijah has a short black hair and a black moustache and scruffy beard.

Elijah’s last known address was 164 Susquehanna St., Binghamton.

 

 
 
 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Mark P. Cherven for the Offense of Failure to comply with the New York State Sex Offender Registration Act.

Apparently Cherven, a registered sex offender, moved from his residence at 32 Stuyvesant St, Binghamton, to an unknown location without notifying authorities of his change of address.

Cherven is a white male, born 2-24-66; and he is described as being 6’0, 180lbs, with hazel eyes. Cherven has a long brown hair with a receding hairline and a moustache.

 

 
 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Shawn M. Kostick, as he has a bench warrant for his arrest issued by Binghamton City Court. Kostick is wanted for sexual misconduct due to having sexual contact with an underage female.

Kostick also has a warrant for his arrest issued by Broome County Family Court.

Kostick is a white male, born 1-4-86; and he is described as being 5’11, 160lbs, with blue eyes. Kostick has a short brown hair with a light goatee.

Binghamton Police Department records show Kosticks’ last known address to be 336 Clinton St in the City of Binghamton.

 

 

 
 

  Throughout the past several weeks there have been a rash of car larcenies and vandalism to vehicles in the City of Binghamton. Most of the incidents are occurring at night in the west and south sides of the city.

The majority of the vehicles were unlocked at the time of the thefts. Other agencies, including the Broome County Sheriff's Office and Port Dickinson Police Department are experiencing an increase in car thefts as well.

 
 
 

Sometime during the time period between Saturday, August 1 st and Monday, August 3 rd, 2009, vandals entered the grounds of the Discovery Center, 60 Morgan Rd., Binghamton, and did a significant amount of damage to the property.

The damage caused by the criminal mischief is estimated to be nearly $30,000; most of the damage was done to the playground and garden areas.

 

   
 
 

 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Daniel A. Bryant, as he has a bench warrant for his arrest issued by Binghamton City Court. Bryant is wanted for sexual misconduct due to having sexual contact with an underage male victim.

Bryant also has a warrant for his arrest issued by another county on a similar charge.

Bryant is a white male, born 2-16-59; and he is described as being 5’5, 130lbs, with blue eyes. Bryant has a brown hair and a moustache.

Binghamton Police Department records show Bryant’s last known address to be 56 Broad Ave. in the City of Binghamton.

 

 
 
 

Vestal Police are looking for your help in identifying the three pictured females.  On Saturday, September 5th, a female victim had her credit card stolen from a Vestal retail establishment.  Moments after, the three pictured females went on to various locations in Vestal and Johnson City using the illegally obtained credit card. 

 
 
 

On Sept 23, 2009 a burglary of a residence occurred on Prospect Ave in the City of Binghamton. It is believed to have occurred between 11:00pm on Sept 22 and 10:50am on Sept 23, 2009 while the victim was in bed. The suspects stole the victim’s wallet, including his ATM card; a cell phone and a video game were also stolen. The credit card was used twice at 0130 hrs and again at 0200 hrs on Sept 23, 2009, and the suspects are seen in these photos.

 
 
 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Leslie E. Thomas, as he has a warrant for his arrest issued by Binghamton City Court. Thomas is wanted for Burglary in the second degree.

The charge is from a domestic incident Thomas was involved in on September 22nd in the City of Binghamton.

Leslie E. Thomas is a black male, born 2-7-66; and he is described as being 6’2, 200lbs, with Hazel eyes. Thomas has a shoulder length black hair and a goatee.

Binghamton Police Department records show Thomas’s last known address to be 23 Mygatt St. in the City of Binghamton.

 

 
 
 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Stephen Islar, as he has a warrant for his arrest for a Violation of his Probation. The Probation Violation comes from an assault charge against Islar.

Islar is also wanted by the Johnson City Police Department on a Felony Criminal Contempt charge.

Stephen Islar is a black male, born 2-11-70; and he is described as being 5’7, 150lbs, with brown eyes. Thomas has a short black hair and a goatee.

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Steven Smith, as he has a warrant for his arrest issued by Binghamton City Court. Smith is wanted for Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, a Class B Felony.

Steven Smith is a black male, born 9-6-66; and he is described as being 5’8, 235-260lbs, with brown eyes. Thomas has short black hair and a beard.

Binghamton Police Department records show Smith’s last known address to be 95 Susquehanna St. in the City of Binghamton, but he is believed to frequent the Syracuse area.

 

 
 
 

Between approximately 0315 – 0340 hrs on the morning of November 22, 2009, a male BU student was approached by two men while walking on Walnut Street near Main Street. The two men grabbed the student and ordered him to give them his belongings. The men told the victim that they were armed with a gun, though none was displayed. The victim refused to hand over his property, and one of the suspects struck him in the side of the head with an object, at which time he was able to escape them and run away. He later sought medical attention for head injuries sustained in the attack.

Approximately 15 minutes later, around 0336 hrs, another group of BU students walking near Main and Chestnut Street observed two men assaulting a third man with an unknown object in the parking lot of a business located at this intersection. The students began calling 911 at which time the suspects fled east on Main Street. The victim, a BU student, received serious head injuries from which he is still recovering, and was robbed of some of his property.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured the images of two men near the scene; it is believed that the two men in this video are the assailants, though their identities are unknown.

According to eyewitness accounts, the first male appeared to be Hispanic or of Middle Eastern descent, 5’9, 150-165lbs, wearing jeans and a white shirt.

The second was a black male, 6’ 200 to 220lbs, wearing a black coat and hood.

The males appeared to be in their 20’s and alleged to have a handgun.

Along with specific suspect information, Investigators would be interested in information from anyone who may have witnessed any of the incidents, and / or observed any suspicious individuals.

 

 
 
 

The Binghamton Police Department’s Warrant Division is currently looking for one Brian D. Button, as he has a warrant for his arrest for a violation of his probation from a menacing charge involving the use of a weapon.

Button also has two misdemeanor bench warrants issued for him by the City of Binghamton Court for traffic violations.

Brian Button is a white male, born 12-21-59; and he is described as being 5’3, 155lbs, with green eyes and brown hair.
