Vestal Sexual Assault
This case was originally presented on June 14, 2002.

At approximately 3:00 AM on Monday, June 3, 2002 an unknown subject forced entry to a residence located on Old Lane Road in the Town of Vestal, New York. The male subject sexually assaulted an elderly female, then fled with a small amount of money.

Additional information has been developed which indicates that the vehicle used by the subject is probably a 1997 or 1998 Honda Civic, 2 doors with a dull dark or black finish. The vehicle is very plain and has older style steel rims, ( not alloy ).

The perpetrator is described as a white male, age in his mid 20’s, darker complexion, medium build, muscular frame and short dark hair. The perpetrators lifestyle affords him the opportunity to be cruising residential areas on weekends during the middle of the night, usually between 3:00 AM and 4:30 AM.

At approximately 3:00 AM on Monday, June 3, 2002 an unknown subject forced entry to a residence located on Old Lane Road in the Town of Vestal, New York. The male subject sexually assaulted an elderly female, then fled with a small amount of money.

The intruder was described as follows:
Male, age between 20 and 30 years, about 5'9" tall, medium build and short dark hair. Subject was wearing a black T-shirt with white block lettering across the front, light tan khaki pants and a ball cap.

The subject fled the area in a mid size, dark colored car.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
