Binghamton Kwik-Fill Robberies
On November 27, 2001, at 9:45 PM, an armed robbery occurred at the Kwik-Fill Store located at 23 Floral Avenue, Binghamton, New York. At that time, a man entered the store and walked up to the counter where a clerk and another employee were standing. No one else was in the store. The man displayed what appeared to be a handgun and told the clerk to calm down. The man then told the clerk to give him everything in the register. After receiving the money, the man exited the store.

On December 8, 2001, at 7:07 AM, a man entered the Kwik-Fill Store at 267 Main Street, Binghamton, New York, and approached a clerk standing at the counter. The man displayed a handgun and announced the robbery. After receiving the money from the cash drawer, the man exited the store.

No one was injured in either robbery. It is believed that the same man committed both robberies.

The suspect in the first robbery is described as a black male, age around 30, 5’7" to 5’8"  tall, approximately 200 pounds, wearing a large black or dark blue bubble coat with a hood, lighter blue scarf around face,  dark baggy style jeans and latex glove on each hand. Suspect spoke in a deep voice. The coat may have made the suspect look heavier.

The suspect in the second robbery is described as black male, age approximately 20, 5’6" tall, thin build, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, lighter blue scarf over his face, jeans, work boots and a latex glove on each hand.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
