	Binghamton Clinton Street Rape
	On September 7, 2002, between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM, a 35 year old Binghamton woman left a Clinton Street business, by herself, on foot. In the area of 58 Clinton Street, the woman was approached by a man that she had met earlier in the evening, and barely knew. The man began to kiss and inappropriately touch the woman. The woman told the man to stop, and attempted to walk away from him. At this point, the man pulled out a knife and held it to the woman’s neck. The man then forced the woman to go under the back stairs of 58 Clinton Street, where he raped and sodomized her.		The woman eventually was able to escape from her attacker and run to a nearby relative’s house. The suspect is described as a male, black, approximately 26 years old, 5’7" to 5’10" tall, skinny build, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a white "doo" rag with a black head band around it. The suspect was also wearing a silver chain around his neck. The victim knows the suspect by the name of, "Capone". Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
