Cory Hudson On the evening of June 1, 2002, a 23 year old female resident of the Saratoga Housing Complex was visiting friends at a nearby apartment. At about 6:00 PM, an argument developed between the male resident of the apartment and a man who was visiting him. The man was an acquaintance of both the visiting woman and the apartment residents, and was known to them only as, "Jamel" During the argument, Jamel suddenly ran into the apartment where he was visiting and grabbed a knife. He then returned outside and disappeared around the corner of the apartment building. The woman who was visiting locked herself inside the apartment. Moments later, Jamel returned to the apartment and forced entry by cutting the screen of the door. Once inside, Jamel went over to the woman and stabbed her in the face with the knife. He then ran back out the door and fled the area. The subsequent investigation by the Binghamton Police Department identified Cory Hudson as the assailant in this incident. The victim of the stabbing survived her injuries after being treated for two lacerations in her left cheek which required 23 stitches to close. On June 18, 2002, City Court Judge John T. Hillis issued a warrant for arrest of Cory Hudson on a charge of assault in the second degree, a Class D Felony. Hudson has never been arrested on the warrant, and remains at large at this time. Cory Hudson is described as a male, black, 36 years old, born May 13, 1966, 5’9" tall, 145 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. Hudson goes by the street name of, " Jamel ". Hudson uses the alias of O’Neil Birmingham. His last known address is 70 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, New York. Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes. |
