Endicott Dual Robberies
In the late evening hours of Saturday, October 19, 2002, two armed robberies occurred in the Village of Endicott, New York.

In the first incident, which occurred at about 8:30 PM, a 33 year old Berkshire, New York man was pumping gas into his car at the Manley’s Mighty Mart at 433 East Main Street, Endicott. While the man fueled his vehicle, he was approached by a male subject who emerged, on foot, from the side of the store. The subject displayed a knife and demanded money from the man. The man removed cash from his wallet and handed it over to the subject. The subject then fled the area on foot.

In the second incident, which occurred about 9:39 PM, two elderly Endicott women were sitting in a car in the parking lot of the American Legion, 1305 Riverview Drive, Endicott, when a man walked up to them. The man reached into the car and put a knife against the throat of the woman nearest to him, and demanded money. The woman handed over cash to the man, who then turned to the other woman and demanded her purse. When the woman told the man that she did not have a purse, he fled the area on foot.
No one was injured in either of the armed robberies. It is believed the same man is responsible for both robberies.

In the first incident the suspect is described as a male, white, 40 to 45 years of age, 5’ 8" tall, spoke with a gravelly voice, wearing a brownish camouflage hooded jacket. The knife is described as a Buck style folding type with a dark wood handle and brass bolsters, with a 5" blade.

In the second incident, the suspect is described as a male, white, 35 to 40 years of age, 5’8" tall, blue eyes, wearing a yellowish coat with hood and light blue jeans.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
