On October 16, 2002, a Chenango Bridge, New York, woman discovered that her purse was missing. The purse had been left in her car and could have been removed while the vehicle was parked at various locations earlier in the day. One item that was inside the purse was the woman’s Boscov’s credit card.

Before the woman could report the card as stolen, it was used at Boscov’s Department Store, 11 Court Street, Binghamton, to make a number of purchases. These purchases all took place on October 16, 2002, and totaled about $800.00.

The subsequent investigation by the Binghamton Police Department has developed a suspect in this case. Wanted for questioning in the theft of the purse and the fraudulent use of the Boscov’s credit card is Jamie L. Lowe.

Jamie L. Lowe is a male, white, 23 years of age, born September 13, 1979; 5’10" tall, 170 pounds in weight; blonde hair and blue eyes. Lowe has tattoos on both arms, both shoulders and his back. He uses the alias of Jamie Alcantara, and David Pello.

Lowe is also wanted by the New York State Division of Parole as a Parole Violator. He is also wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police, Gibson, Pennsylvania, for  Forgery.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
