Binghamton Counterfeit Checks - May 18, 2002

| On May 18, 2002, a Binghamton woman had her purse stolen while she was at the Forum on Washington Street, Binghamton.The purse contained numerous ID's, credit cards and other personal items.
On Friday, July 5, 2002 a female subject illegally transacted three checks taken in the purse theft. The checks were cashed at Charter One Banks located at 3212 Vestal Parkway, Vestal, New York; 84 Court Street, Binghamton, N.Y. and 186 Robinson Street, Binghamton, New York. The total of money stolen from the three checks is $3,088.12. Suspect Description: White, female, age in 20's, stocky build with dark hair. Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes. |
