Peter C. Sosnowsky On August 17, 2000, at about 11:30 PM, Peter C. Sosnowski was arrested at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Clinton Street, Binghamton, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest was made by the Binghamton Police Department, who also charged Sosnowski with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, a Felony. On November 26, 2000, Sosnowski was again arrested by Binghamton Police, this time for domestic violence. At about 11:30 PM, on that date, Sosnowski, while in an intoxicated condition, went to the west side apartment of his 36 year old girlfriend. The woman was in bed when Sosnowski arrived and an argument soon developed between the two. The confrontation became violent when Sosnowski spit on the woman and then punched her in the face. The woman was able to run to her bathroom and call Police, who responded and arrested Sosnowski. The woman, while not seriously injured, suffered swelling to her face. Sosnowski pled guilty to the DWI charge and a reduced AUO charge and was sentenced to Probation and ordered to pay fines totaling $1,000.00. The domestic charge as well as 7 other V & T charges from yet another traffic stop are still pending in City Court. On September 14, 2001, City Court Judge Mary Anne Lehman issued a Bench Warrant for Sosnowski when he failed to pay his fines and violated his probation. The Warrant was also issued because Sosnowski did not appear as directed by the Court on the Domestic charge and the 7 other V & T charges. Sosnowski is also wanted by Broome County Family Court for being a, " deadbeat dad". On January 15, 2002, an Arrest Warrant was issued for Sosnowski for failing to pay child support. Sosnowski is described as a White male, 41 years of age, born July 29, 1961, 61" tall, 210 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes. His last known address was 325 Burd Drive, Vestal, New York. Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes. |
