Binghamton, Amnesia Club Homicide

In the early morning hours of Saturday, May 10, 2003, a homicide occurred at a downtown Binghamton, New York, nightclub. At about 1:50AM, on that date, an argument broke out among several people on the large, rear dance floor of the Amnesia Club, 60 Henry Street. During the altercation, an unknown male individual pulled out a gun and began shooting. Two Binghamton men were struck by bullets, Daniel England, age 27, and Floyd R. Ash, age 27. Both men were transported to the hospital, where Daniel England later died. Floyd Ash survived his injuries.

Investigators are seeking the identity of a potential witness who was at the scene of the shooting. That individual is described as a black male, age 25 to 30 years, 6’0" tall, 180 pounds with short black hair.

Additionally, along with specific information as to the identity of the shooter, investigators would also like to identify and hear from any witnesses to the shooting, or people with knowledge of the shooting.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
