Vestal, NY On Friday, June 27, 2003, at 3:45 AM, the Military Recruitment Office in the Vestal Park Plaza, 4700 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, New York was the target of Criminal Mischief. This incident was the second such attack on the building in a little over two months. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 9, 2003, the same building was damaged when a molotov cocktail was thrown through the front window. The damage was limited to just the broken window when the incendiary device failed to function. In the latest incident, a similar type of attack occurred, damaging the building. The Vestal Police Department is attempting to identify two individuals who were seen in the area of the most recent incident, minutes before it happened. Both appear to be young white men. One of the individuals is carrying a backpack and may have an injury under his left eye. The second individual was wearing an Alan Iverson jersey with the number 3 printed on the back of it and a large wristwatch on his left wrist. Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes. |
