Vestal, NY The Vestal, New York, Police Department is investigating the theft and illegal use of a number of credit cards. The credit cards were stolen from vehicles that were broken into, on Rano Boulevard, in the Town of Vestal, between the hours of 9:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2003 and 2:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2003. After obtaining the cards, the suspects involved began to illegally use the credit cards, first at Wal-Mart in the Town Square Mall, Vestal, at 2:36 AM. The suspects continued their illegal use of the stolen credit cards in Johnson City, New York, both at Wegmans, 650 Harry L Drive, and at the Johnson City Express Mart.. They also used the cards at Manley’s Mighty Mart, 53 Downs Avenue, Binghamton, at 5:30 AM. Surveillance cameras have caught four suspects in possession of the stolen credit cards. The suspects appear to be 3 white males and 1 white female, all in their early twenties. Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes. |
