Smart Wash Burglary

The Endicott, New York, Police Department is investigating a Burglary and Criminal Mischief that occurred in the Smart Wash Laundry Mat, which is located in the Price Chopper Plaza, North Street, Endicott. The incident occurred sometime overnight, from Monday evening, September 8, 2003 through Tuesday morning, September 9, 2003.

During the hours mentioned, unknown person(s) entered the laundry, which is open 24 hours a day, and forced entry into the Office area. The suspect(s) then stole a VCR and an undisclosed amount of coins from within the Office. Additionally, the suspect(s) pried open dollar bill changers and vending machines in the laundry. An undisclosed amount of coins was stolen from those machines.

Along with specific suspect(s) information, investigators are seeking any information that may be helpful with this case, or any suspicious individuals observed in or around the laundry that night.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
