Thirsty's Bar, Binghamton, NY

On Saturday, September 27, 2003, a 56 year old Binghamton, New York woman was enjoying a night out at Thirsty’s Bar, 46 South Washington Street, Binghamton. Well after midnight, at about 2:00 AM, Sunday morning, September 28, 2003, the woman put her purse on a bar stool and left it there while she danced. The purse is a black Liz Claiborne which contained the woman’s black Liz Claiborne wallet, credit cards and several personal items.

The subsequent investigation revealed that two of the stolen credit cards were illegally used four times before the woman could cancel them. Those illegal usages occurred immediately on that Sunday morning, between the hours of 2:12 AM and 5:31 AM. The cards were used to make purchases at the Price Chopper, 10 Glenwood Avenue, Binghamton; Sunoco, 227 Court Street, Binghamton; Hess Mart, 236 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton; and another local Hess Mart.
