NYPD Wanted Fugitive
Raymond Yu

On  Sunday, November 9, 2003, an attempted homicide occurred in the Club Yello, 32 Mulberry Street, New York City, New York. The Yello, a nightclub, is described as a hot spot for Asian celebrities and jet setters, and is located in the Chinatown section of lower Manhattan. At approximately 2:30 AM, on that date, Mr. Christopher Louie, an aspiring Asian Rap artist, was shot once in the back during a fight inside the nightclub. The alleged intended target of the shooting was the Asian rap star known as Jin, who was also in the nightclub. Jin escaped injury in this incident, however, the victim of the shooting suffered partial paralysis to the lower left side of his body.  The shooter fled the scene and eluded capture that evening.

The subsequent investigation by the Detective Squad of the 5th Precinct, NYPD, revealed that the shooter in this incident is a man named Raymond Yu. Efforts to locate Yu were  unsuccessful, therefore, on December 29, 2003, a Warrant was issued for his arrest for a charge of Attempted Murder. Yu is also wanted as a New York State Parole violator.

Fifth Precinct Detectives have learned that Yu has ties to the Binghamton area, including SUNY Binghamton. They believe that he may have fled New York City and possibly is in this area.

Yu is described as an Asian male, 22 years of age, Date of Birth is February 5, 1981, 6’1" tall, 170-185 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, large scar across the left side of his face and neck area, tattoo of a Chinese symbol on his right forearm. Yu is also an Asian rapper of some renown in the Asian rap community.

Yu uses the aliases of David Chan and G-Kay.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
