Larceny suspect
Endicott Rape

The Endicott, New York, Police Department is investigating a rape that occurred in August of this year. On Sunday, August 22, 2004, shortly before midnight, a woman was standing in front of her 2 Jefferson Avenue apartment building when she was approached by an unknown man. The man asked the woman if he could borrow a cigarette from her. After telling the man that she did not have a cigarette to lend him, the woman turned and walked away, headed for her apartment. When she arrived at the apartment and went through the door to enter it, the man followed her inside.
Once inside, the man displayed a knife and then forcibly raped and sodomized the woman. When he was finished, the man fled the scene, last seen on North Street in the vicinity of the Price Chopper.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 30 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve black shirt with white lettering on the front, white shirt underneath, dark pants and a black baseball style cap.
A composite picture of the suspect has been developed and is presented with this case.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
