On Friday, November 12, 2004, a Search Warrant was executed on the north side of Binghamton, New York. The warrant was the result of an on going drug investigation by the joint Broome County Sheriff’s Department / Binghamton Police Department Joint Special Investigations Task Force, and was served at 19 ½ Frederick Street. At the time of the execution of the warrant, a number of people attempted to flee the house, but were quickly apprehended by Officers. One individual, however, escaped the residence by jumping through a window. Efforts to subdue this person, a male, were unsuccessful, as he eluded pursuing Officers in the neighboring back yards. A search of the area for the individual was also to no avail. The subsequent investigation revealed that the man who fled the scene was Alvin A. Young, II. Along with charges stemming from this incident, Young is also wanted on two Warrants of Arrest. The first is issued by Binghamton City Court for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony. This is the result of a completely different investigation by the Task Force. The other warrant is issued by New York State Parole and lists Young as a Parole Violator. Young is currently on Parole for Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. Young is described as a black male, 24 years of age, born December 25, 1979, 5’11’ tall and 145 pounds in weight. His last known address was 19 ½ Frederick Street. |
