BPD CVS Baby Formula Larcenies

In late November of 2004, two larcenies occurred in Binghamton, New York. The first larceny reported occurred at the CVS Pharmacy, 249 Main Street. An inventory shortage of over $500.00 was discovered on November 22, 2004. A review of surveillance tapes by store officials revealed that the missing inventory items were stolen from the store on Sunday, November 21, 2004.
The second larceny occurred at the CVS Store at 34 West State Street, across from the Binghamton Plaza. In this incident, the theft of property was discovered and reported to Binghamton Police on Wednesday, November 24, 2004.
The subsequent investigation by Binghamton Police has led Detectives to believe that the two thefts are related. The theft at the West State Street store appears to have occurred on either Sunday, November 21, 2004, or the next day on Monday, November 22, 2004. In both cases, large amounts of baby formula was stolen. In the first theft, $513.00 worth of Similac, Isomil, Enfamil and Alimentu baby formula was stolen. In the second incident, $296.68 worth of the same varieties of baby formula were stolen.
Detectives are attempting to identify and interview three individuals who were in the first CVS Store on the day of the thefts. Pictures of these individuals have been developed from the surveillance video and are being presented with this case.
Along with specific suspect and case information, Detectives would be interested in information from anyone who may have been in either of the CVS Stores on the days of the thefts and also may have noticed something suspicious.
The individuals are all black females, aged approximately in their 30’s or 40’s. One woman is wearing an orange jumpsuit and black leather waist length coat. Another woman is wearing tan coat with furry collar, white top and tan pants. She is carrying a large black bag and appears heavy set. The third woman is wearing a wide white head band, dark coat and white top.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
