On Wednesday, February 16, 2005, a “Strong Arm” Robbery occurred in Binghamton, New York. At about 8:30 PM, on that date, a 31 year old Endwell, New York man was shopping in the Getty Gas Station, 227 Court Street, which is located in the downtown area. While in the store, the man heard a derogatory remark being made from somewhere behind him, but because there were other people in the store, he did not realize that he was the intended recipient of the comment.
After completing his business in the store, the man walked out of the building and into the parking lot, where he was approached by a woman that he knew only as “Jackie”. Jackie began talking to the man, keeping his attention, as two males walked up to them from the rear. Suddenly, one of the males pushed the man to the ground. With that, the two males and Jackie began punching and kicking the man as he lay on the pavement. The man rolled onto his side in an effort to block some of the blows and as he did so, one of the attackers reached down and forcibly removed cash from an exposed pants pocket. At this point the three attackers broke off from the aggression and left the area.
The man suffered abrasions to his left leg and left knee cap.
The amount of cash taken in the robbery is undisclosed.
The subsequent investigation led to the identification of the three robbers. The two males have been arrested and charged with Robbery in the second degree.
The third robber, Jackie, has been identified as Jacqueline R. Spencer. All efforts to locate Spencer have been unsuccessful, and so on March 3, 2005, Binghamton City Court issued a Warrant of Arrest for Spencer, charging Robbery in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony. Spencer has never been arrested on that warrant and remains at large at this time.
Jacqueline R. Spencer is described as a black female, 19 years of age, born January 13, 1986, 5’4”, 150 pounds, black hair and black eyes. Her last known address was 45 Pine Street, Binghamton.
Spencer also uses the date of birth of January 13, 1985.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
