BPD Fugitive Kathleen M. Brown Taylor

On February 5, 2004, a Grand Larceny was reported to the Binghamton, New York Police Department. At about 5:00 PM on that date, Management of the store called Police to report that a store employee had stolen over $1,000.00 from the business.
The subsequent investigation revealed that during the months of December, 2003 and January, 2004, an Assistant Manager, Kathleen M. Taylor Brown, had been electronically transferring money illegally. While on duty, Brown was sending money from a “Pre Solutions” machine into her private credit card account. A Pre Solutions machine sells prepaid minutes for telephone cards and cellular phones as well as supplies funds for credit card accounts. Brown would send money to her credit card account, but then would never pay the Pre Solutions machine for the funds. It was discovered that Brown had done this several times over the mentioned time period, collectively stealing over $1,000.00.
On February 6, 2004, Binghamton Police Detectives located Brown and arrested her for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. Brown was arraigned in Binghamton City Court and ordered to return at a later date for further Court action.
During her Court proceedings, Brown was ordered to report to City Court on August 10, 2004. When Brown failed to make the appearance, a Bench Warrant was issued for her arrest by Judge Mary Ann Lehman. Efforts to locate Brown have been unsuccessful, and she has never been arrested on the Warrant. She currently remains at large.
Kathleen M. Taylor Brown is described as a white female, 34 years of age, born November 1, 1970, 5’6”, 135 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. Her last known address is 22 Livingston Street, Binghamton.
Brown uses the aliases of Kathleen M. Taylor, Kathleen Brown and Kathleen Borges.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
