NYSP Golf Course Burglaries & Criminal Mischief’s

The New York State Police in Endwell are currently investigating multiple incidents of burglary and criminal mischief that occurred at area golf courses throughout the month of December, 2004.
Sometime during the overnight hours of Saturday, December 11, 2005 into Sunday, December 12, 2004, unknown person(s) broke into a garage located at the Binghamton Country Club, 1401 Robinson Hill Road, Endwell. Property stolen from the garage included keys, equipment and golf carts.
During this same time period, unknown person(s) caused extensive damage at the Endwell Greens Golf Course, Sally Piper Road, Endwell. In this incident, a cable which secured numerous golf carts was destroyed, giving access to the vehicles. Six golf carts were then removed and driven on the golf course and surrounding area. As a result, all of the carts sustained damage. Additionally, several tees, fairways, greens, trees and bushes were damaged.
In the overnight hours of Saturday, December 18, 2004 to Sunday December 19, 2004, a garage at Traditions on the Glen, 4101 Watson Boulevard, Johnson City, N.Y., was broken into. 14 golf carts were taken from the building and driven all over the golf course. All of these carts were damaged, with one being set on fire. Another cart was driven into a gazebo.
The New York State Police in Whitney Point are investigating a burglary and criminal mischief that occurred at the Ford Hill Golf Course, ST-26, Whitney Point. In this incident, a garage was illegally entered and 4 golf carts taken. These carts were then driven all over the golf course. Two of the carts sustained damage when they were driven into a pond. Moreover, signs on the golf course were run over by the carts and damaged.
The Tioga County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a criminal mischief complaint that occurred at the Grandview Farms Golf Course. Sometime in the overnight hours of Thursday, December 23, 2004 to Friday, December 24, 2004, four golf carts were hot wired and then driven all over the golf course. Two of these carts were damaged when they were driven into a pond. Additionally, signs and trees throughout the golf course were damaged.

Binghamton Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) responsible for these crimes.
