BPD Fugitive Cindy Kovalefsky

The Broome County Government Security Case Integrity Unit has filed an arrest warrant for Cindy R. Kovalefsky charging her with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the second degree, a Class D Felony.

She is accused of possessing and submitting to the Broome County Department of Social Services an Examination for Employability Assessment record, knowing that information contained in the instrument, including the signature of the treating Physician was forged.

This incident occurred August 2004. Investigators have been unable to locate Kovalefsky since the time of this occurrence.

On February 28 th, City Court Judge William Pelella issued an arrest warrant for Cindy R. Kovalefsky charging her with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the second degree, a Class D Felony.

 

Kovalefsky is described as a white female, 5’4, and 190 lbs. with red hair. Kovalefsky’s last known local address was 965 Nanticoke rd, Maine, NY.

Kovalefsky has used the alias of Cindy Compton in the past, and has an outstanding warrant for her arrest under that name for violating the conditions of her probation agreement.

In September 2005 the Case Integrity Unit developed information that Kovalefesky was living out of a car or staying with acquaintances in the northern portions of Pennsylvania just south of the Broome County, New York border.
