JCPD Criminal Mischief

In the morning of 3/25/06 the Johnson City Police Department responded to a reported Criminal Mischief that occurred overnight at the Johnson City High School.  A motor vehicle apparently drove across the newly laid sod on a practice field used by the students at the high school causing damage to the field.   A photograph recovered from the surveillance camera at the school showed a two tone (dark over light) Chevrolet blazer or a GMC Jimmy causing this damage. The photo was taken at 1:40am.   It should also be noted that the vehicle sustained some damage when it struck a grass embankment, breaking the under-mounted spare tire away from the vehicle and leaving the tire and several car parts behind.   

The Vestal Police also received a similar complaint as to damage to their football field which occurred the same evening. 

  Along with specific suspect information, Investigators would be interested in information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and / or observed the fleeing individual.
