SOLVED
In the evening of Monday, July 18, 2005, an Attempted Murder occurred in the west side of Binghamton, New York. At about 9:45 PM, on that date, two men were traveling in a vehicle northbound on Edwards Street. As the vehicle slowed down to stop at a house near Thorpe Street, a male standing at the rear of a stopped car, brandishing a firearm, took a shot at the men. The men drove off in their vehicle as more shots were fired. |

BPD Fugitive Brian A. Peterson SOLVED On the morning of Sunday, October 9, 2005, a domestic violence incident occurred on the west side of Binghamton, New York. At about 7:20 AM on that date, a 25 year old Helen Street woman was asleep in her apartment bedroom, when she was suddenly awakened by knocking on the window. The woman arose to find an ex-boyfriend - Brian A. Peterson standing there. Peterson was in direct violation of an Order of Protection, issued by Binghamton City Court, which forbade him from having any contact whatsoever with the woman, and further ordered that he was to stay away from her residence. |

Alvin A. Young II On Friday, November 12, 2004, a Search Warrant was executed on the north side of Binghamton, New York. The warrant was the result of an on going drug investigation by the joint Broome County Sheriff’s Department / Binghamton Police Department Joint Special Investigations Task Force, and was served at 19 ½ Frederick Street. At the time of the execution of the warrant, a number of people attempted to flee the house, but were quickly apprehended by Officers. At about 5:50 AM on that date, a 58 year old male hotel employee was on duty at the reception desk in the front lobby when he was approached by a man carrying a dumbbell. Binghamton Fugitive, Yulon T. Jones Investigation has revealed that fugitive Yulon T. Jones was in possession of cocaine with intent to sell. On September 4, 2003, City Court Judge Mary Ann Lehman issued a Warrant of Arrest for Jones, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony.
